Honda Big Bike Adventure Series, Up for Free Test Ride

Here’s everything you need to know about this exclusive, exciting treat!

It’s not a drill! For those wanting to step into the world of big bike riding or planning to switch to Honda Big Bikes, well, there’s a sweet treat coming your way for the rest of this year.

Honda Philippines, Inc., the No. 1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, announced today that it would open its doors for customers for a free test ride of their Honda Big Bike Adventure series, exclusively at the world-class Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) in Parañaque City.

“At Honda, we know that not experiencing to ride a motorbike can sometimes become a deal-breaker, particularly when it comes to big bikes. These motorbikes are like beasts that really get everyone’s attention because of their stance,” said Hervic Villa, Motorcycle Planning Department Manager.

“However, for big bike riders, we know that it is more than just its stance that they are looking for. And that is why we want our customers to experience riding our Honda Big Bikes so it will be easier for them to decide which one is right for them,” he added.

Simply put, this free test ride aims not just to introduce and explain all the details about the Honda Big Bike Adventure series but, more importantly, to make customers have an exclusive first-hand experience riding them. It also provides an opportunity to have a one-on-one session with an HSDC instructor.

And yes, it includes two of the most incredible Honda big bikes, such as The All-New X-ADV and The New Africa Twin.

The All-New X-ADV is a standout innovation that perfectly combines urban and off-road experiences. It captures the essence of modern adventure, mainly as it blends the balance and stability of a scooter with the toughness of an off-road motorcycle.

This big bike is also equipped with strong tubular-steel chassis with 745cc twin-cylinder engine and Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The latest model also features a 5-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Full-LCD Digital Meter Panel that paves the way for the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS). This technology links the rider to their smartphone while on the road, making it easier and safer as it allows voice management of weather, navigation, telephone, message, music, and volume.

The New Africa Twin, on the other hand, is Honda’s embodiment of a thrilling all-terrain experience as it can ignite its rider’s spirit to the wilderness, may it be through mountains or strips of vast lands, with its 6-Speed Transmission and an all-new 1,084cc 4-stroke parallel-twin engine.

To avail of the exclusive test ride, Villa said that customers who want to start their Big Bike journey or upgrade from their previous bikes must first register online. A link will be posted this August 2021 on Honda Philippines’ official Facebook page. They just need to click on the link, fill out the forms with the necessary information, and select the exact date they want to do the test ride. Registrants will then receive a confirmation via private message on September 2021 while the Test Ride activities for Honda Big Bike will start on October 2021.

The schedules, for now, will be on weekends only and will start once the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) lifts the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) guideline status in Metro Manila.

On the other hand, confirmed participants must comply with HSDC requirements, adhering to the safety protocols set by the IATF. In this case, they need to a medical certificate or a PCR negative test result for COVID-19. The test ride is also limited to eight participants per the scheduled day to ensure that everyone can practice social distancing and observe proper sanitation.

“We are excited to welcome customers to the HSDC for these test rides. We hope that through this initiative, we can help them experience even more the joy of mobility and the exciting thrill of riding our Big Bikes,” Villa added.
