Midea unveils next-generation VRF system
One of the world’s leaders in cooling solutions, Midea (pronounced mai-dia) recently launched its next-generation Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system in the Philippines. Called Midea VRF V8 Series, the breakthrough technology makes it possible to simultaneously both heat and cool buildings by using the heat extracted from an area that needs cooling to heat another area.
The technology was introduced during the Midea V8 Global Launch Event, titled “Envision the Infinity”, held at the Crosswinds Resort Suite, Tagaytay City. During the event, Midea provided the detailed breakthrough explorations of Midea V8 Series VRF from a quality, design, and low-carbon standpoint.
This latest innovation from Midea is the industry’s first fully enclosed electric control box to avoid damage to internal components caused by harsh environments. It takes pride in having unique features such as lower installation costs and better installation efficiency; as well as 19 sensors, the most complete range in the industry, that allow for an instant diagnosis of the system’s current functions, along with other advanced innovations.
Midea is also set to launch the Midea GenesisPro High Wall INV R32 air conditioner, with new high wall inverter series with higher EER and WiFi functions. This device generates a strong flow of cool air in an extremely short amount of time for instant coolness, with a high-quality coating that can withstand salty air, rain, and other corrosive elements. It is also equipped with energy-saving and energy-efficient functions such as ECO mode and Super Ionize that releases high-concentration positive and negative ions to purify air. It also has Smart Diagnosis which offers easier maintenance via its mobile app.
The brand will soon launch the Midea Wonder, a new inverter series that delivers wider, and faster cooling compared than traditional window AC. This unit is also smart-enabled and works with Google and Amazon Alexa.
