Hanabishi Honors Mothers as It Joins the Inquirer Read-Along With Pauleen Luna-Sotto

Hanabishi Appliances joined the Inquirer Foundation’s Inquirer Read-Along last May 15 as it dedicated its session to mothers. Actress and TV host Pauleen Luna-Sotto joined teachers Ann Abacan and Dyali Justo in reading to the kids who pre-registered for the event.

We at Hanabishi are happy to join the Inquirer Read-Along in their advocacy of of appreciating the importance of family bonding, especially between mommies and their children. Mothers play a valuable role in shaping the mind and character of children),” said Hanabishi Appliances Marketing Consultant Ronwaldo Villanueva.

He added that this has been one of the guiding principles of Hanabishi – being a practical partner of mommies and making it easier for them to do their roles at home.

Not only did Hanabishi bring along Pauleen to the Inquirer Read-Along, they also gave away prizes for the children who joined the Zoom event.

Winners of the Q&A portion received a Hanabishi blender, microwave oven, griller, food steamer, rice cooker, deep fryer, hand mixer, grill, gas stove, and turbo broiler. All the  kiddie participants received an industrial floor fan and hand mixer.

Pauleen read Ompong Remigio’s Papel de Liha and teachers Ann and Dyali read May Bolang Kristal Ba Si Nanay by Segundo D. Matias, Jr.

Hanabishi brand ambassador Sarah Geronimo surprised the kids with a special message that encouraged them to read.

Mothers, always support your children’s love of reading. This will help them overcome the challenges in life),” she said. Launched by the Philippine Daily Inquirer in 2007, the Inquirer Read-Along aims to promote love of reading among children.
