ENSURING CONTINUOUS POWER SUPPLY TO COVID-19 TREATMENT CENTERS.
Seen in the photos are Meralco crews conducting distribution maintenance works at the Eva Macapagal Super Terminal located inside Pier 15 in Manila South Harbor that presently serves as a temporary treatment facility for COVID-19 patients.
The said maintenance works include the replacement of ageing power cables, re-tightening of secondary cables, and testing of new power cables and existing power transformer. This facility is one of the many vital hospitals and COVID-19 treatment and testing centers in the Meralco franchise area that are given high priority when it comes to providing safe, adequate, and reliable supply of electricity.
