New Vivo S series smartphone a mix of function and style, for mid-market
In the last couple of years, Vivo has been creating smartphones that put the latest and powerful technology in the hands of consumers.
This month, the brand is expected to roll-out a mid-tier handset which reportedly offers not just cutting-edge features but also equally exciting designs that showcase sophistication in style, yet within the reach of most consumers.
The Vivo S1, which is supposed to be the first handset in the new S Series, boasts of features not found in other smartphones in its class.
The S1 is also seen to have a 6.38″ Full HD SuperAMOLED screen that comes with a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Inside, the Vivo S1 will supposedly pack a 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, to be powered by a fast-charging 4500mAh battery.
For photos and videos, the Vivo S1 is rumored to have a 32MP AI selfie camera while in the rear, a 16MP main, 8MP secondary, and a 2MP wide-angle camera will make up an AI triple lens set-up that Vivo has helped establish to be somewhat an industry standard.
At the back, the smartphone will reportedly sport a sleek design to showcase a gradient glossy finish on the Skyline Blue variant and a diamond cut design on the Diamond Black variant, to make the S1 not just a smartphone but a fashion accessory.
To spark excitement for the highly functional yet superbly stylish Vivo S Series smartphone, celebrities like Darren Espanto, Vern Enciso, Verniece Enciso, Chie Filomeno, and Julie Anne San Jose will ask their Instagram followers to post their OOTD to mirror the color scheme of the Skyline Blue and Diamond Black variants, for a chance to win five (5) brand new S1 smartphones.
