ANONAS BISTRO . The Extraordinary Taste and Place.
When eating or dining into a new restaurant what is this one thing that we are looking for? Is it the place, the price or the taste? Well, of course as for me it should be all of the above. But first, we need to find and look after the Taste of the food that they serve. Exactly as it is. We need to satisy the cravings of our tongue. And that’s how your taste life becomes happy whenever we got that right in front of our tongue.
So right there and then, me and some of our media friends, happened to visit a new resto in the heart of the metro. Located along the streets of Anonas, there is this one, true, amazing food that I really liked so far. It is called ANONAS BISTRO located in heart of 145 K-6th Kamias Quezon City. It is owned by Architect Roman Ignacio Jr., who invested into resto during this pandemic.
He decided to put up this business, to help those people who lost their jobs in these times of crisis. Until somebody asked him why? And he simply said this challenging and yet inspiring answer” Eh bakit ka nagtatayo ngayong pandemic? Eh gusto ko eh! Iba ang pakiramdam ko. Hindi naman habang panahon ganito tayo. Kung mag flop man yun kasalanan ko.” That gave me the feeling of bravery and tough. Imagine, putting up a business in this time, that is one hell of an action.
Architect Roman also shared that he is into construction business that’s why he the ones in-charge to the place or venue, from renovations etc. While his partner, Chef Severino Palunday, is the ones in-charge to kitchen and Lucien Aquino. The idea of this Bistro is to serve Filipino dishes but more on Ilonggo side of cooking, like for instance, Kare-Kare with a twist, something like that. And every month, they create a special dish, or signature dish that will give them the Bistro branding. How nice and idealistic.
Finally, the verdict. As for me, the place is good. It’s cozy, homey and very relaxing. And the food of course, the taste is definitely extraordinary. Indeed. Because it has an authentic flavor as in “kakaiba” that you will not find it with any other resto. I will truly recommend it and I am giving them 5 Stars! And as for the food, for me it’s 10/10. Great!
